The computer Information Technology program is ideal for students with a genuine passion for computers.
In this nontraditional classroom environment, the majority of your time will be spent engaged in interactive project-based learning activities. This program will immerse you in state-of-the-art computer systems and business systems, providing a solid foundation in technology as you explore college programs and industry certifications.
Beginning with the core areas of computer hardware and software, students then move on to advanced topics in networking, operating systems, cyber-security standards, databases, and Internetworking. The program embeds a computer science course as a fourth year science for graduation and post-secondary admittance to college.
Taught from an industry perspective, you will also learn about the important social, ethical, and legal issues surrounding information technology.
The practical application of these concepts and certifications earned will provide you with a professional portfolio of work as you seek future employment or acceptance into college programs.
Be a yardstick of quality. Some people aren't used to an environment where excellence is expected. - Steve Jobs
